Capstone Overview
Six regions will work with a member of SFA to determine a capstone project for the semester. Each of the six regions will have a different topic. Regional Capstones will be smaller in comparison to the National Capstone.
The National Capstone is a display of region dominance in the aspect of space domain. National Capstone leads will work with USSF and SFA to develop upcoming projects for the year ahead.
The main objective of the SPS National Capstone is to provide professional development training and offer the opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas for the space domain.
SFA and Private Company Involvement
SFA will serve as a mentor for national and regional staff. SFA will assist with training material, funding, and Capstone projects.
Private companies are encouraged to sponsor universities and attend both Regional and National Capstone events. Private companies will offer opportunities for jobs, internships, and scholarships.
